IT WAS THE DELTAS AGAINST THE RULES...THE RULES LOST!
CELEBRATE THE MOST POPULAR COLLEGE COMEDY OF ALL TIME

Containing Outrageous New Bonus Features, Commemorative Packaging and Much More--Available October 28, 2008 From Universal Studios Home Entertainment

Universal City, Calif., September 12, 2008--"Food Fight!" "I’m a zit, get it?" "Toga! Toga! Toga!" The over-the-top, politically incorrect, subversively endearing comedy classic that introduced those iconic lines to generations of audiences celebrates a milestone with Animal House:30th Anniversary Edition, coming to DVD on October 28, 2008 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Directed with madcap zest by John Landis (The Blues Brothers, Coming to America), the definitive college fraternity film will be released in a two-disc special edition that includes two all-new "Scene It?" mini-game experiences for $19.98 SRP and a gift set that contains two new mini-game experiences, a brand new 98 minute documentary with cast and crew interviews, and a printed collectible "Faber College Yearbook" all in collectible "Delta House" packaging.

The hilariously raunchy screwball comedy that introduced the late John Belushi in his feature film debut as John "Bluto" Blutarsky is filled with unforgettable performances from a host of future stars: Stephen Furst (Class Reunion), Peter Riegert (Traffic), Thomas Hulce (Amadeus), Tim Matheson ("The West Wing"), Karen Allen (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) and Kevin Bacon (Mystic River). Donald Sutherland ("Dirty Sexy Money") also makes a memorable cameo in this often imitated but never equaled comedy milestone.
