Image Entertainment presents FADE TO BLACK starring Christopher Walken and Danny Huston, coming to DVD October 5th

“You got something to say about that Mr. Wells? Something smart?”

Rome in 1948 was a labyrinth of mystery and crime – a city of seduction and danger.  On October 5, Image Entertainment will release Fade to Black:  a richly-drawn thriller of an opulent city in her decline and the man who is still drawn to her hazardous wiles. Fade to Black will be available on DVD for an SRP of $27.97 and will also be available via digital download.  Pre-book is September 7.

Fade to Black begins with Orson Welles (Danny Huston – Robin Hood, Clash of the Titans) traveling to Rome in an attempt to recover from his broken marriage with Rita Hayworth and to re-kindle his failing career.  He hopes to find the spark amongst the beauty and ruins that will fire his imagination once more.

On the set of his movie, he notices a ravishing young actress (Paz Vega – Spanglish).  But when her stepfather is killed by an unknown assassin, Welles follows the mystery into The Eternal City’s chaotic criminal underworld.

Also starring Oscar®-winner Christopher Walken (Catch Me If You Can, Wedding Crashers, The Deer Hunter), Fade to Black is a complex story of intrigue, murder and desire.  In this exotic world, nothing is what it seems, no one can be trusted and the truth is the deadliest illusion of all.
