SYNOPSIS
Everyone in Justine’s (Garance Marillier) family is a vet. And a vegetarian. At sixteen she’s a brilliant student starting out at veterinary school where she experiences a decadent, merciless and dangerously seductive world. Desperate to fit in, she strays from her family principles and eats RAW meat for the first time.
Justine will soon face the terrible and unexpected consequences as her true self begins to emerge…

In advance of its theatrical release RAW has picked up several prizes from film festivals around the world including; the Fipresci Prize at Cannes Critics' Week; the Sutherland Award for Best First Feature at the BFI London Film Festival; Best Director award at Fantastic Fest’s “Next
Wave” competition; the Golden Octopus Award and the Audience Award at the Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival; three prizes at the Sitges-Catalonian International Film Festival including the Citizen Kane Award for Best Up-and-Coming Director, the Méliès d’Argent Award for Best Feature-Length European Film, and the Carnet Jove Jury Award for Best Feature-Length Film.
